Unfortunately, I just don't really have a need for this blog anymore. I'd said that I'd update it occasionally, but I don't really feed the need/desire to do it, so I'm not ruling out future updates from time to time, but don't hold your breath. I'll keep the site up just for my own records and to look at other people's blogs, but as for now..

My life is boring, cicada are icky. Other than that, not much else to talk about. I will post some pictures here that I posted on the LJ earlier. Hope you enjoy.
Me showing off my sassy new hairdo. And yes, I'm aware you can't see much hair in this shot. The rest of these are big and mess up my pretty template, so they're linkies.
1. My parents are annoying and seriously need to get over themselves.
2. DSL is now running from my lovely computer. Love it, love it to pieces. It wasn't too difficult to hook up, I had to call tech support, but they walked me through the final instllation process. They do make you turn off your virus protection and firewall for the install and I got slammed with three attempted hacks in the first five minutes until I turned it back on. My modem must also have a firewall because I couldn't send files to someone last night on AIM, and I could do that with my Norton firewall. I'm not complaining, I'd rather be too safe than not safe enough.
3. The cicadas are humming now. It's sort of romantic in a weird alien type way.

-Not so sure I still want to see Troy, as I've heard it both sucks and blows.
-I had Indian food for lunch and it's seeping through my pores. I almost fell down the stairs in the resturant, I was looking at the sign in the main dining room stating that the upstairs dining room was closed due to lack of AC, and tumbled down the first stair to the lower dining room. D'oh!
-Dommie's show "Lost" was picked up by ABC today. He passed the word out over the weekend that it was picked up, but we didn't know until today whether it would be a fall or mid-season start, and it will indeed be starting in the Fall! W'hoo!
-I bought a digital camera from bestbuy.com last night. Expect random pic spams as soon as I get it figured out.
-DSL will soon be hooked up. My dial-up days are hopefully soon over.
-"Desk Set" is my favorite Hepburn & Tracy movie ever.
-KITH Season Two coming out on DVD in the summer is very good news indeed.

Boston was great. Fair skinned girls got sunburned and blisters on their feet, but the city made herself beautiful for us for a weekend. I didn't cry once when the memories assaulted me, which was quite an accomplishment.
I just watched "Love Actually" and cried my eyes out. I'm such a sap. Why do British chick flicks get to me more than American ones? Why didn't I go see this movie in London? Because I would have lost my shit on the way back from the theater and would have likely never left. :Sniffs:
